Accounts Assistant

  • Balance and maintain accurate ledgers - Sales, Purchases & General.
  • Bank, Sales, Purchase and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • VAT Returns.
  • Credit Control - chasing clients for outstanding balances and negotiation with suppliers for better credit terms.
  • Monitor office expenses.
  • Assist Financial Controller with financial statements, including cash flows, profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Routine procedures - checking off invoices against purchase orders, generating invoices, filing and other ad hoc accounting responsibilities.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Studying towards ACCA or another accounting qualification.
  • 1 to 3 years' work experience.
  • Experience with data entry & record keeping.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Business Central& Microsoft Office.
  • Capable of working under pressure and independently.
  • Identify areas where processes can be improved.
  • Attention to detail and manage tight deadlines.
